We could produce TUBTRUGS in other colours, but this would compromise the ecological integrity of the product because we would have to add new plastic to the mix...this we refuse to do. We believe the public, especially gardeners, realise that recycling has got to be the way forward.

So we always quote the old Henry Ford saying "any colour you like as long as it's black" although in our case TUBTRUGS are actually very GREEN!

Survival of the Greenest!

The recent United Nation's report on the dire ecological state of the Earth underlines once again the need for us to recycle as much of our waste as possible.

Faulks & Co. have specialised in "green" products since they began trading in 1981, with the emphasis on the practicality and durability of their range.

"Recycled does not mean compromise; all of our range is made to be incredibly durable and flexible" says proprietor Steve Faulks. "We make sure we use the right materials for the job, and that it will last at least as long as the virgin material equivalent. In fact our products often last a lot longer"

Faulks & Co. have catered to the agricultural and construction trades for many years selling tyre rubber containers and has recently entered the domestic market with their recycled polyethylene "Tubtrugs" range which has previously proved incredibly popular in the building trade.

At their introduction at the 1998 Gardeners' World Live Show, Tubtrugs were picked as "Best Buy of the Show" by Charlie Dimmock, and also won an Environmental Award!

1999 saw the introduction of the "EasyPond" range. People who would normally be intimidated by a water feature project can see how easy it is.
